Is Your Soul Crying Out for Something Else?

It happened to me years ago.
I can still see myself standing in the most gorgeous banking office I ever had. It was 7:00 am, I was looking out at the derelict Ritz Hotel across the street where the patrons, most of them on welfare, were still sleeping and I envied them. The fact that they were on welfare didn't matter; I envied them. I envied their freedom. They were free from the rat race and the frenzy of the corporate treadmill I was on. I remember the tears and the sudden realization that I was at an important crossroad and had better start paying attention.
Long story short is that I did listen to the longings and yearnings of my soul and I quit shortly after that. Now as a spiritually-based woman entrepreneur loving what I do what I know for sure is that three key ingredients are necessary for business success and harmony. It's like a recipe...leave out an ingredient and you pay the consequences. Set your intention and the end product is fun, fabulous and amazingly delicious.
Here are the essentials:
Your Woman's Heart + Your Business Mind + Your Loving Soul
= Harmony and Success!
If one of these is missing you'll know it real quick.
Your Woman's Heart - finds it easy to connect with others, loves relationship building, reveals your heart's desires, delivers your soul's purpose with ease and grace.
Your Business Mind - is a whiz at creating systems and strategies, knows how to attract your ideal clients, cash flow is consistent, generates more than enough money for you.
Your Loving Soul - speaks to you through your emotions and intuition, has it's own spiritual timeline, will urge you to quit in mid-stream if you're not being authentic and true to yourself, fills you with confidence to begin again and to follow your soul's path
My Woman's Heart loves working at home. What I see from my home-office window is a beautiful serene lake with Canada Geese landing and taking off in the most amazing formations. Swans, sea otters and Blue Herons occasionally visit us too.
At the moment I'm working with my Business Mind to help me set up automated systems so that I have more time to do the creative work I love and to enjoy our home and the nature that surrounds us.
I love that we have our own Discovery Channel right outside our door. It's a true reflection that I am indeed now listening to my Loving Soul and allowing myself to work in a creative and nurturing environment.
As a woman, when something is going wrong for us in our business and we feel like crying - and we just can't figure out what it is - looking at this model is useful because it can help us identify what essential ingredient is missing.
Here's a little exercise for you to do:
- Ask yourself these empowering questions:
- Using the above model, (Woman's Heart, Business Mind, Loving Soul) is there one area where I feel confused, frustrated or at a loss?
- Do I feel out of integrity with my soul or my life's purpose?
- How can I make this fun?
- How can I make this simple?
- Pay attention to your soul as it communicates to you. It could be a feeling, it could be words, an image, a song or an action step.
- Jot down your thoughts, insights or messages in a notebook or journal.
In the Abraham-Hicks teachings we're told our main purpose for being here this lifetime is to experience JOY. That's it...pure and simple. Joy!!!
One thing I know for sure; when I'm having fun it's an indicator to me that I'm in alignment with my woman's heart, mind and soul. I love that!
Oh...I just thought of something else you could do. Get yourself a $5.95 "EASY" button from Staples and press it often. It's so much fun imagining that your soul is the one that's saying..."That Was Easy".
I have one in my office and I'm going to press it right now.
